1981 — The beginning
The Ranch Restaurant opened on June 4, developed by Steve and JoAnn Schmitz with Jim Beier. The original western décor featured famous Old West characters.
1983 — Garman Cityscape
An addition introduced the famous Michael Garman cityscape, later moved to the entrance so every guest could examine its remarkable details.
1991 — A fresh interior
The three dining rooms were transformed into an elegant yet casual library, ranch-style dining room and porch atmosphere.
1994 — Family ownership
JoAnn and Steve Schmitz became sole owners and continued the restaurant's commitment to service, food and hospitality.
